New Year in Weymouth

After all the festivities of Christmas, see in the New Year on the Dorset coast. As the waves crash against the rocks along the dramatic coastline of the Isle of Portland, it's easy to see why this forms part of the World Heritage Coast.

Crusader Holidays uses an interchange system, taking place at either Beaconsfield Services (M40), South Mimms Services (M25/A1M) or Thurrock Services (M25).

Here you may have to change to your holiday coach and we are renowned for ensuring that this is smooth and efficient.

The holiday coaches typically depart from Beaconsfield Services at 11.15, Thurrock Services at around 09.30 and South Mimms Services at 10.30. Some customers find it more convenient to join direct at the interchange, please let is know when booking if this is the case.

Itinerary
Day 1 After joining your holiday coach head southwards with comfort stops on the way. Arrive at your hotel late afternoon with a welcome drink and porterage included. The Manager and staff of the Crown Hotel cordially invite you to the ballroom to start the celebrations with a welcome glass of wine and nibbles before dinner. Bingo in the ballroom at 8pm, followed by entertainment to get your New Year break off to a swinging start!

Day 2 - New Years Eve - Enjoy a relaxing morning perhaps with a walk in the town or a stroll along the promenade to take a look at the sea. We hope you have all got your fancy dress outfits ready for this evening! At 7pm join everyone in the restaurant for a candlelit Hogmanay dinner served with a complimentary glass of wine, a party hat and crackers will help make things go with a bang! New Year entertainment will be held in the ballroom bar and please accept a glass of bubbly compliments of the management to toast in the New Year.

Day 3 - New Years Day - After breakfast all aboard for an included excursion along the Dorset coastline. See the striking castle ruins of Corfe Castle, the Pier of the Year 2012 at Swanage and the sights of Wareham, set between the rivers Frome and Piddle. Return to the hotel mid afternoon for a delicious cream tea. Dinner tonight comes with a complimentary glass of wine. Bingo will follow at 8pm in the ballroom. Your entertainment tonight will start the New Year with plenty of dancing and singing!

Day 4 - After breakfast, depart for the beautiful Cathedral City of Salisbury where there is time for lunch and a look around. Later continue homewards returning to your home towns early to mid evening.Great Entertainment .

CROWN HOTEL, WEYMOUTH
Situated 1 minute's walk from the town bridge over the historic Weymouth Harbour, and close to the town centre. This traditional hotel offers comfortable accommodation, a restaurant and bar, and easy access to beach, 10-minutes' walk away.Each of the 86 rooms at the Crown Hotel include a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with hairdryer.
