Here you may have to change to your holiday coach and we are renowned for ensuring that this is smooth and efficient.

The holiday coaches typically depart from Beaconsfield Services at 11.15, Thurrock Services at around 09.30 and South Mimms Services at 10.30. Some customers find it more convenient to join direct at the interchange, please let is know when booking if this is the case.

Day 2 - 4 At leisure in Scarborough with 2 included excursions. Britain's first holiday resort, Scarborough, has been welcoming visitors for over 360 years. The North Bay and South Bay are separated by the headland on which stands the town's medieval castle. Safe beaches, cliff tops and a busy shopping centre stand only yards apart. You will have a free day in Scarborough, a town of immense style with some of the finest parks and gardens in Britain.

Whitby & North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
We start the day at Pickering's heritage station to board our train for a nostalgic journey on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, travelling through stunning scenery to Whitby. This charming coastal town features quirky streets and a picturesque harbour. It is most widely known for its atmospheric ruined abbey perched on the cliffs above the town which provided inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula. Free time in Whitby before returning to the hotel. Rail fare included. Medieval York Magnificent York is a beautiful compact riverside city famous for its Roman, Viking and Medieval heritage dating back 2000 years. Within the ancient walls and twisting atmospheric streets you will find an array of sights to discover such as the iconic York Minster (the largest Gothic cathedral in the Northern Europe), Jorvik Viking Centre which tells the story of York's Viking Heritage (entrance not included) plus a host of museums, shops, charming tea rooms and traditional pubs. Don't miss the picturesque warren of medieval lanes known as the 'Shambles'. Your driver may be able to offer an optional guided city tour.
