Description
Description
With its glorious seafaring history, rejuvenated waterfront, bustling centre and unrivalled musical heritage, Liverpool is well worth a visit! We enjoy this fabulous metropolis from a different perspective as we take to the water for a ferry 'cross the Mersey. There is also the chance to discover the historic delights of Chester on this affordable three-day break.
Itinerary
Day 1
From a morning pickup in your local area we travel by coach to our hotel in time for dinner and our first night's stay.

Day 2
We make our way to Liverpool where we board the ferry 'cross the Mersey, a 60-minute round trip which gives us the chance to take in the sights and panoramas along the River Mersey, including Liverpool's skyline and the beautiful shorelines of the Wirral on the opposite bank. Afterwards, we enjoy some free time in Liverpool. From the impressive Liver Building to the renovated Albert Dock, there are plenty of iconic sights to tick off and stories to discover around every corner. Fans of The Beatles can explore some of the locations frequented by the famous band such as the Cavern Club. Later we return to the hotel for dinner and our second night's stay.

Day 3
This morning we head to the delightful city of Chester, where the fascinating sights span the centuries. Wander through the streets of black and white timber-framed buildings and double-height shops or visit the remains of the city's Roman Amphitheatre. As well as an abundance of historical attractions Chester also has a thriving shopping centre with a host of cafés, restaurants and pubs to tempt you. We make our way home in the afternoon.
