St Ives & Penzance (full day)
We spend the first part of our day in St Ives, a jewel in Cornwall's crown, with spectacular beaches to rival the best in the Mediterranean. Once a small fishing village, the resort is now popular with coach holiday visitors due to its cosmopolitan mix of golden beaches, world-class art galleries and craft shops. Next, we head to Penzance which provides the perfect pit stop for a delicious Cornish pasty and a lovely stroll along the Victorian promenade, (swept on by the sea-breeze no doubt). As the most westerly major town in Cornwall, it offers wonderful views across Mount's Bay; a lovely half-moon chunk of coast which curves all the way from Land's End to Lizard Point.

The Eden Project (full day)
Today we enjoy the Eden Project - Famous for its iconic bubble-shaped domes, which house the world's largest indoor rainforest and simulate the Mediterranean microclimate, the Eden Project is an award-winning attraction which transports you to all four corners of the globe to experience the unique sights, smells and climates of the world's diverse eco-systems.

Optional Excursion Padstow & Charlestown - £14pp (full day)
On our optional excursion, we travel first towards the gorgeous port town of Padstow which dishes up plenty of culinary culture, fresh seaside air and lovely harbourside views. Despite being a must-see tourist destination, this well-known little town still has a cosy, local feel to it as characterised by its traditional fishing practices, narrow streets and ancient festivals.

Next we journey to the brooding, windswept port of Charlestown, which featured heavily in the popular BBC TV series Poldark. Truly an unspoiled example of a late Georgian working port, it's a wonderful place to admire the quaint fisher cottages while wandering through the worn-by-time cobbled streets and spy a tall ship or two in the harbour.
