Paignton Turkey & Tinsel

Paignton is a thriving holiday resort on the stunning South Devon coastline, part of Torbay, affectionately known as the ‘English Riviera’.This pre-Christmas break sees us staying at the popular Marine Hotel, which is always highly rated on its food quality and customer service.

Monday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way south, arriving at the hotel in the afternoon. We will arrive to tea or coffee, mulled wine and warm mince pies. There will be entertainment this evening.

Tuesday: Today we have a Mulled Wine & Mince Pie Cruise from Exmouth. A five-course dinner will be served this evening, along with a present from Santa. There will be entertainment this evening.

Wednesday: Today we visit Exeter for the Christmas Market. Here we will find an exciting mix of continental and local, independent traders, showcasing the best of festive food, crafts and gifts. The west front bandstand showcases local bands, carol singers and choirs. After dinner, there will be entertainment this evening.

Thursday: Today is your free day to explore Paignton as you choose. After dinner, there will be entertainment this evening.

Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back this morning to Hugglescote, arriving back late afternoon.Marine Hotel

Situated on a level position, directly opposite Paignton Seafront and a short walk to the town centre, you couldn’t ask for a better located hotel on the English Riviera. The hotel is light, airy & modern, with a comfortable conservatory which boasts a panoramic view of the seafront.

All 53 bedrooms are en suite with tea/coffee making facilities & television. The hotel does have a lift but there are some steps to some rooms after the lift (especially sea view rooms).
