The festive markets in the city centre are a popular highlight where you can enjoy delicious food and drink and traditional crafts at the heart of East Princes Street Gardens, the perfect place to pick up unique gifts and goods. Markets stretch out to various locations across the city including West Princes Street Gardens and George Street between Castle Street and Charlotte Square. Indulge in all things Christmas as you shop, sip on spiced mulled wine and get your Christmas shopping off to a fun and festive start!

Day 1 After joining your holiday coach, travel north with suitable stops for lunch and refreshments. Arrive in Peebles this evening for your 3 night stay with breakfast & dinner included.

Peebles & Melrose
All aboard for a short drive to Melrose, best known for its Abbey, which lies on the north east side of the centre of the town. Forming part of this is the excellent Commendator's House Museum, which lays claim to having the largest collection of medieval artefacts on display anywhere in Scotland. No admissions included. Early afternoon head for free time in Peebles, a pretty town just 5 miles from the hotel, with its picturesque main street set on a ridge between the River Tweed and the Eddleston Water. Peebles is one of the most handsome of the Border towns.
Edinburgh Christmas Market
Fall under the Yuletide spell at Edinburgh's Christmas Market. Just imagine: fairy lights twinkling in the trees; bustling markets selling all kinds of festive goodies; and warm drinks and delicacies from across Europe. Enjoy panoramic views of the capital from the top of the Big Wheel, or brave a spin on the waltzers. Aside from the festive markets, Edinburgh's city centre is a great place for shopping, whether you're looking for high-tech gadgets from leading department stores or a designer outfit from the boutiques in Multrees Walk
