Itinerary
Bristol & Bath Weekend
Day 1 After joining your holiday coach, you head off to Bristol, dipping into the charming Cotswolds en-route. This scenic detour through one of England’s most unspoilt regions will take you through picturesque Burford to see the medieval bridge, old stone houses and attractive Georgian and Tudor frontages. Arrive in Bristol and your centrally located 4* hotel for your 3-night stay. Dinner in the hotel is included tonight. DBB. The remaining two nights are on B&B basis to allow you to take advantage of the nearby restaurant scene in the Harbourside (Sept) or the city centre (Oct)
Day 2 Bath
Spend the day in the exquisite Georgian city of Bath with its many historical monuments and beautiful architecture dating back to Roman times. Bath's extraordinary array of architectural treasures has earned the whole city UNESCO World Heritage Site status. Explore the Abbey, Roman Baths and the famous Pulteney Bridge or just relax on the banks of the River Avon. Bath is, of course, also home to many of the locations and scenes of the popular Netflix production 'Bridgerton and its portrayal of Regency England. Enjoy free time or join the optional city sightseeing tour (details available from your driver). BB
Day 3 Bristol
Spend the morning at leisure to explore Bristol and the Harbourside - you may even come across some of the murals and street art by one of the city’s most notorious sons, Banksy! You may like to visit Brunel’s ground-breaking SS Great Britain, one of the most important historic ships in the world and a template for all modern ships to come (entrance not included – approx £19.50 in 2022 - pre-booking may be required). This afternoon take in the sights and hear about Bristol’s rich maritime history as you cruise through the Floating Harbour and up onto rural stretches of the Avon while enjoying a delicious cream tea with all the trimmings afloat on a 2-hour Bristol Packet Boat Trip. NB there are several steps up and down to get on and off the boat (no wheelchair access). BB
Day 4 After checking out this morning, head home via Royal Windsor where you spend enjoy some free time in this buzzing town with its world-famous majestic castle right in the centre. Then it’s time to re-board the coach to head back to interchange and onward to your home towns mid-evening

This modern 4* hotel is located close to Bristol’s Harbourside, approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the city centre including the Broadmead shopping centre and Cabot Circus.
The 275 spacious and stylish bedrooms have TV, minibar and tea/coffee facilities and there is a fitness suite & spa treatment rooms.
The restaurant is bright and contemporary and there is also a large bar with plenty of seating, serving bar snacks, cocktails and drinks all day.
There is a lift. Singles are doubles for sole use
NB Page 37 of the brochure shows a pool available at this hotel but unfortunately the pool is now permanently closed
