Itinerary
Castle of Mey & John O’Groats -
Discover the castle of Mey, a beautiful 16th century castle in stunning Caithness, located on the north coast. Once the Scottish home of the late Queen Mother (admission included). We then continue on to legendary John O’Groats and take in the dramatic views across to the Orkneys.

Caithness Coast -
We take you along the caithness coast towards Tongue and Durness, noted for its wide skies dramatic seascapes and rugged peaks.

Orkney Islands -
We start our journey to John O’Groats where we join our passenger ferry to Orkney crossing the famous Pentland Firth. on arrival at Burwick, we travel by coach across the Churchill Barriers, where five islands thread together to form the eastern boundary of Scapa Flow. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Holy Hills from across the water as we travel along the northern coast of Scapa Flow. Free time will be given in Stromness a picturesque town which has plenty to see and do with its winding main-street and interesting museum. Our journey continues as we visit the neolithic village of Skara Brae, a village which was hidden for thousands of years under sand dunes and rediscovered only 100 years ago. A short stop will be given at the Ring of Brodgar and the Standing Stones of Steness as we travel to Kirkwall, the capital town of Orkney. Plenty of free time will be given allowing you to explore.
