Twixmas in the Cotswolds

Escape the chaos for Christmas for a few days break to the relaxing Angel Hotel in the beautiful Cotswolds….Saturday: Outward travel to Chippenham with a stop in the famously historic town of Stratford– upon– Avon arriving in the hotel for tea, coffee and warm mince pies. Following the evening meal join in the fun with a quiz night.

Sunday: Today we shall be travelling to Bath a unique city with hot springs, Roman Baths, splendid Abbey and Georgian stone crescents which have attracted visitors for centuries. Set in rolling Somerset Countryside, it is a beautiful and unforgettable place to visit. Returning to the hotel in the evening for a disco for all ages provided by the resident DJ.

Monday: Today holds in store a beautiful scenic tour of the Cotswolds returning to the hotel for an early dinner before we depart for the Pantomime. This evening Aladdin shall be having his wishes granted…..

Tuesday: Following breakfast we shall set off home calling in Gloucester where literary links abound with Beatrix Potter's Tailor of Gloucester and the Cloisters at Gloucester Cathedral which were a location of the Harry Potter movies.The beautiful Angel Hotel in the attractive Cotswold town of Chippenham will be the base for this super Christmas Celebration. Originally a seventeenth-century coaching inn, the Angel hotel has been extensively refurbished to offer the best in surroundings and comfort with a unique blend of traditional and contemporary style. With its own leisure facilities including swimming pool and gym it will be perfect for a relaxing break.
