Christmas in the Cotswolds

Let the honey-coloured English villages of the Cotswolds be the backdrop to a magical Christmas.Christmas Eve: While travelling out to our final Christmas destination we will stop in Stratford to soak up the festive atmosphere, maybe grab that last minute bargain or visit the famous sights. On arrival in the hotel you will be greeted with tea, coffee and lovely warm mince pies. After your sumptuous evening meal join in the fun of a sing-a-long evening. For those wishing to attend the mid-night service the church is only a short stroll away.

Christmas Day: Today will be a relaxing Christmas Day where you will be waited on hand and foot. The morning will be spent at your leisure leading up to your Traditional Christmas Lunch. After the Queen’s speech there will be a walking tour of Chippenham and the River Avon. Having walked off Christmas lunch we return to the hotel for afternoon tea and Christmas cake. For those who have room the evening meal will be a buffet. Then join in with the Christmas quiz before bed.

Boxing Day: This morning we will depart on a morning tour of the Cotswolds villages taking in the sights of this beautiful corner of Old England. Following lunch the afternoon is yours to relax in before an early dinner so that we may go to Bath to see the excellent Pantomime- Aladdin.

Saturday: Today we depart the hotel and spend the day in Bath before travelling home, arriving back in the early evening.The beautiful Angel Hotel in the attractive Cotswold town of Chippenham will be the base for this super Christmas Celebration.
Originally a seventeenth-century coaching inn, the Angel hotel has been extensively refurbished to offer the best in surroundings and comfort with a unique blend of traditional and contemporary style. With its own leisure facilities including swimming pool and gym it will be perfect for a relaxing break.
