Freshwater you cannot drink, Cowes you cannot milk, Newport you cannot bottle, Lake
you cannot row on, Ryde where you walk, Newtown which is very old and Winkle Street
where there are no winkles, all in all a marvellous place to stay!
Itinerary
During your time on the island we shall travel on an island tour taking in the scenery,
picturesque villages and history of this special place. We will also visit Osbourne House,
a much loved residence of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, Amazon World a recreation
of the spectacular rainforest, or Ryde where you can catch the hovercraft to Southsea.
The pearl factory is awaiting your visit to explore their beautiful treasures. A morning tour
of the picture postcard village of Godshill, a real island prize, followed by a visit to the
botanical gardens at Ventnor.
For those travelling on the 7 day tour we shall also visit Carisbrooke Castle, home to an
excellent museum exhibiting many artefacts relating to King Charles I who was imprisoned
in the castle for the last year of his life. On both trips free time can be spent on the sandy
beaches of Sandown.

The Marina Bay Hotel
This family run hotel is delightfully situated on the attractive seafront of Sandown with excellent views of Sandown Bay and Culver Cliffs.
Situated only 500 yards on level ground from the town centre, the hotel is ideally suited for all ages. The beach is just a few steps away.
Many of the delightful ensuite rooms have seaviews. Guests can enjoy the large reception area with Sky TV.
