On this break we explore the furthest reaches of Cornwall, with its landscape dotted with copper mines, stunning coastlines and legends aplenty. And we journey beyond Land’s End with an unforgettable excursion to the nearby Scilly Isles too!

YOUR EXCURSIONS

FULL DAY: We make our way to England’s most westerly point, Land’s End, where rocky cliffs tower above the sea. Then we continue to Penzance, immortalised by Gilbert & Sullivan’s ‘Pirates of Penzance’. The town enjoys a mild climate all year round and boasts many fine period buildings and exotic gardens.

FULL DAY: An early start to catch the ferry from Penzance to the Isles of Scilly and to St. Mary's, the largest island. We disembark in the capital, Hugh Town and join a local guide for a circular mini-bus drive around the island before we return on the afternoon sailing to Penzance.

HALF DAY: A morning tour of the North Cornwall Heritage Coast to the small resort of Portreath, once a thriving port importing coal and exporting local copper from one of the many mines. We conclude our morning at the seaside favourite of Perranporth, with one of the finest beaches in England.
