Join us as we head to the rural outskirts of Telford for our Spring into Shropshire tour. There is no better time than Spring to relax and enjoy scenic Shropshire as it awakens from Winter. Our wonderful hotel is in an enviable position, nestled within magnificent grounds overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge. Discover this beautiful county on our excursions to the ancient market town of Ludlow on Market Day. Take in the magnificent scenery and historic past as we travel to Ironbridge village, walk across the famous Iron Bridge and take in the spectacular views and quirky Bridgnorth, actually two towns linked by a Victorian Funicular Railway. Spend a wonderful day in Shropshire’s County town Shrewsbury, perfectly placed in the centre of this rural county, wander winding streets with curious names, lined with beautiful architecture bursting with history. The town is filled with wonderful attractions waiting to be discovered, enjoy a boat trip on the River Severn in the Sabrina Boat to see Shrewsbury from a different perspective. This great Spring tour will leave you wanting more of super Shropshire.

Itinerary

Monday
Depart Leyland at 10.00am as we head to rural Shropshire and our hotel on the outskirts of Telford with a suitable lunch stop en-route.

Tuesday
Full day tour - Travel through scenic countryside to visit Ironbridge Village with chance to walk across the famous bridge with an afternoon visit to Bridgnorth.

Wednesday
Half Day Tour - Spend the morning in historic Ludlow on Market Day with time for lunch, return to the hotel mid-afternoon to relax and enjoy the hotels leisure facilities and grounds.

Thursday
Full day Tour - today we visit Shrewsbury, take a morning sail on Sabrina Boat with tea/coffee and biscuits included leaving the afternoon free for you to explore or visit one of Shrewsbury's wonderful attractions.

Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
