This tour offers the chance to compare the elegant resorts of South Devon with the picturesque villages of South Cornwall from our base in the South West's largest resort, Torquay.

Itinerary

Full Day Excursion to Looe and Polperro
We travel over the River Tamar into Cornwall and visit these picture perfect Cornish villages with their intricate maze of narrow little streets lined with charming Cornish cottages.

Full Day Excursion Sidmouth and Exmouth
Unlike their Cornish cousins, these South Devon towns have been seaside resorts for two centuries and their elegant Georgian villas provide quite a contrast to the fisherman's cottages in Cornwall.

Venue Information

Rainbow International Hotel

Centrally located close to the beach and to Torbay Road with its promenade and gardens. Entertainment is provided 6 nights per week in the cabaret 'Rainbow Club' lounge and a smaller bar is also available. Spacious restaurant with buffet-style self service from a choice of menu. Indoor heated swimming pool and steam room. All 140 bedrooms have bath or walk-in shower and WC, central heating, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel is two connected buildings with a lift in the main building only. It is unsuitable for guests with mobility problems as most bedrooms are accessed via stairs. Tel: 01803 213232
