Sunday
From local departure points we journey north for an overnight stop.
Monday
Crossing the Scottish border we head past Perth and Pitlochry and on to Carrbridge and the Carrbridge Hotel.
Tuesday
At leisure to relax and explore Carrbridge and enjoy the surrounding scenery of this pretty village. After dinner enjoy the evening entertainment.
Wednesday
A full day excursion to discover the beauty of the Spey Valley as we visit Grantown-on- Spey, before following the heart of Whisky Country to Aberlour and on to Glenfiddich Distillery for a wee dram. We return by the Moray Firth, visiting Elgin, Scotland’s smallest city and the seaside resort of Nairn.
Thursday
Today we head north to the ‘Capital of the Highlands’ - Inverness. Here there is free time to explore before we visit the shores of Loch Ness and return across Culloden Moor, location of the last battle on Scottish soil.
Friday
A full day tour today as we head for Cromarty Firth, along its banks to the historic town of Dornoch with its wonderful little cathedral. Before returning via Shin Falls, Bonar Bridge, and Struie Hill with marvellous views over the Kyles of Sutherland (8 day tours only).
Saturday
Heading south we make our way to our overnight hotel in the north of England.
Sunday
Sadly we make our way homeward.
