Description
Nestling in the very heart of the Scottish Highlands is the delightful village of Carrbridge. It was the first Scottish ski village, but the remains of its famous pack horse bridge, the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands, testify to its importance in much earlier times. Surrounded by spectacular mountain and moorland scenery and within easy reach of a host of exciting tourist attractions, Carrbridge is an ideal touring centre. But there are also numerous attractions in the village including the Landmark Forestry Heritage and Adventure Park with its wild water coaster, steam powered saw mill and tree top trail, a pony trekking centre, challenging nine hole golf course and bowling green. Other activities available nearby include mountain bike riding, watersports, fishing, clay pigeon shooting, hill walking, bird watching and climbing.
