Paignton & the Cream of Devon

Tucked midway between Torquay and Brixham on the English Riviera, Paignton is known for its beautiful award-winning sandy beaches, first class attractions and pretty harbour. Mixing up the nostalgic with the modern, the resort is all about fun, with life centering on the seafront the iconic Victorian pier and the expanse of green parkland bordering the sea.Monday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Paignton with a stop en route. We aim to arrive at the hotel late afternoon.

Tuesday: Today we visit the busy fishing town of Brixham on the western side of the English Riviera, home to the replica of the Golden Hind, and many independent shops and cafes.

Wednesday: This morning we depart the hotel to visit the pretty town of Sidmouth where we have time to explore at leisure. Perhaps stroll along the flat seafront before finding a spot for lunch. In the afternoon on the return back to the hotel we will make a stop in historic Exeter for a visit to the Quayside.

Thursday: Today is your free day to explore Paignton as you choose.

Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back this morning to Hugglescote, arriving back late afternoon.Marine Hotel
Situated on a level position, directly opposite Paignton Seafront and a short walk to the town centre, you could not ask for a better located hotel in Paignton on the English Riviera. The hotel is light, airy & modern, with a comfortable conservatory which boasts a panoramic view of the seafront and pretty Torbay Park.
All 53 bedrooms are en suite with tea/coffee making facilities & television. There are sea view rooms available on request. The hotel does have a lift but there are some steps to some rooms after the lift (especially sea view rooms).
