Description
Bournemouth, boasting seven miles of golden beach and clear blue sea, is a vibrant cosmopolitan town that has it all. Situated in the heart of Dorset on the south coast, it has one of this country's warmest climates and is an ideal location from which to explore the local area, much of which are noted areas of outstanding natural beauty.
Itinerary
Monday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Bournemouth with a stop en route, we aim to arrive at the hotel late afternoon.

Tuesday: Today we visit Lyndhurst which became the natural 'capital' of the New Forest when William the Conqueror established his hunting grounds here. Now there's much to keep you busy, from the museum in the New Forest Visitor Centre to shops and cafes. Don't miss the grave of the original Alice in Wonderland (Alice Liddell, later Hargreaves) in the churchyard.

Wednesday: This morning we board the coach to visit Kingston Lacey, an opulent family home built to resemble a Venetian Palace.

There’s plenty to see, from spectacular artworks to beautiful landscapes. Wander through the Japanese Garden to the Kitchen Garden, where Queen Victoria once sent her own gardeners for inspiration. Or explore the vast 8,500 acres of estate, featuring Iron Age hill forts, colourful heathland, water meadows and the world’s oldest pedigree herd of Red Ruby Devon cattle.

Thursday: Today is your free day in resort to enjoy Bournemouth as you choose.

Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back this morning to Hugglescote, arriving back late afternoon.
