Itinerary
Monday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Paignton with a stop en route. We aim to arrive at the hotel late afternoon.
Tuesday: This morning we enjoy an excursion to Brixham, nestling at the southernmost end of Torbay, with its beautiful harbour.
Wednesday: Today we enjoy a scenic journey on the Dartmouth Steam Railway, one of the finest in the country, as we travel along the spectacular English Riviera Geopark coastline from Paignton to Kingswear, before catching the ferry from Kingswear to Dartmouth. There will be time to explore this enchanting town, before boarding the cruise up the beautiful Dart River.
Thursday: This morning we travel to Torquay. The iconic palm trees and international marina could fool you into thinking that you’re in Monaco. Stroll along the Victorian promenade and take in the harbour and waterfront or walk up through Royal Terrace Gardens and be amazed by the stunning sea views. With fantastic shopping and many cafes, Torquay does really have something for everybody.

Sunday: Today we visit Buckfast Abbey. Located at the centre of a picturesque valley on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, the site is a flourishing complex of buildings which the monks have continually developed to aid them in realising their vision for Buckfast with beautiful spacious gardens, a restaurant and multiple shops.
Monday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back this morning to Hugglescote, arriving back late afternoon.

Situated on a level position, directly opposite Paignton Seafront and a short walk to the town centre, you could not ask for a better located hotel in Paignton on the English Riviera. The hotel is light, airy & modern, with a comfortable conservatory which boasts a panoramic view of the seafront and pretty Torbay Park.
All 53 bedrooms are en suite with tea/coffee making facilities & television. There are sea view rooms available on request. The hotel does have a lift but there are some steps to some rooms after the lift (especially sea view rooms).
