Description
Located centrally on the south Dorset coast, Weymouth and nearby Portland has for over two hundred years prided itself as being one of the UK's premier holiday resorts.
Just steps away from the stunning beach and level promenade are quaint colourful streets offering high street names, gift shops, coffee houses and Weymouth's buzzing quayside harbour where you can sit and watch boats come and go.
A gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Site the Jurassic Coast, Weymouth offers the perfect base for exploring the beautiful county of Dorset, one of the UK's most picturesque counties.
Itinerary
Sunday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Weymouth with a stop en route. We aim to arrive at the hotel late afternoon.

Monday: Today we drive along the Jurassic Coast to Seaton where we ride on the famous Seaton Tramway on the narrow-gauge heritage trams. This journey travels between Seaton, Colyford and Colyton in East Devon's glorious Axe Valley.

Tuesday: This morning we board the coach for a visit to Compton Acres, recognised as one of the most important ornamental gardens in England.

Constructed in 1920 by Mr Thomas Simpson, today, Compton Acres is still acknowledged as one of the finest privately-owned gardens in England. Relax in the charming Café & Tea Rooms, browse the treasures in the Gifted Moment store or delve into the exciting world of plants within the Plant Centre. In the afternoon we visit Poole.

Wednesday: Today is your free day to explore Weymouth as you choose.

Thursday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back this morning to Hugglescote, arriving back late afternoon.
