Description
See some of Scotland's natural beauty on this new escorted tour based at the popular Winnock Hotel in the village of Drymen near scenic Loch Lomond.
Highlights include, Maid of Forth cruise, Firth of Clyde cruise, visit to Inchcolm, Isle of Arran, Brodick Castle & Gardens, Loch Lomond cruise and visit to beautiful Luss.
Itinerary
Thursday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and head north, making comfort stops en route, before arriving at our hotel late afternoon.

Friday: Today we cruise on the Maid of Firth, passing under the spectacular Forth Rail Bridge, where we can get close and view the wonderful Victorian engineering, to Inchcolm Island, by far the most beautiful of all the islands in the Firth of Forth. There will be some time here to explore this tiny but beautiful island, the ‘Iona of the East’ (approximately 1 ½ hours). See the abundance of wildlife as well as the historic 12th century Abbey.

Saturday: This morning we board the Calmac ferry which takes us over to the beautiful Isle of Arran. We cruise across the Firth of Clyde from Ardrossan to Brodick, the island’s capital, often described as ‘Scotland in Miniature’. Here we have included a tour of the island to see the beautiful landscapes We will have time in Brodick with entrance to Brodick Castle and Gardens included.

Sunday: Today we have a 2 hour cruise exploring the secret Islands and ‘Narrows’ of Loch Lomond. We start in Balloch, where we take a 2 hour cruise discovering the legends and secrets of the islands of Loch Lomond. We pass Cameron House Hotel before continuing onwards through the ‘Narrows’ with views of magnificent Ben Lomond. We continue onto the village of Luss before returning to Balloch.

Monday: This morning we bid a fond farewell to the hotel, as we make our way back down south, making adequate comfort stops en route, arriving back at the Travel Centre late afternoon.
Venue Information
The Winnock Hotel
Formerly a coaching inn, this hotel has been lovingly restored and tastefully extended to its present-day form. The hotel is located on the village green in pretty Drymen, offering cosy lounges; many with open log fires, a characterful restaurant and public lounge bar.
All bedrooms are en suite with tea/coffee making facilities and telephone. The hotel does not have a lift, but ground floor rooms are available.
