Itinerary
Robin Hood Tour
We are joined by a costumed guide for a fun, theatrical, 3-hour Robin Hood tour against the backdrop of the city. Follow a trail of historical facts to discover how simple ballads over 700 years old grew into one of the greatest stories ever told. As you visit places associated with Robin Hood, you will also see the town's key sites of interest and learn about its past, present and future. Robin will also point out the best places to eat, drink and make merry so you can make the most of your stay. Marvel at the stunning architecture of the Lace Market. Stand where horrible history happened on the steps of the Old County Gaol and find tranquillity in St Mary's Churchyard. Landmarks like the Council House, Old Market Square, the Theatre Royal and other, quirky surprises await you on this adventure around town.

River Cruise & Lunch
Enjoy a relaxing 3-hour sightseeing cruise along River Trent, with informative live commentary, scenic views of Nottingham and an included 2-course roast dinner. Experience the river in all its seasonal glory whilst being pampered in de-luxe, warm surroundings.

Southwell Workhouse
Our day begins with an adventure at Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre, the gateway to the legendary home one of the world's best loved folk heroes! Those able can follow a trail through the forest and discover its most famous resident (after Robin Hood of course): the ancient Major Oak Tree. Next, it's on to the atmospheric Workhouse, also known as Greet House, in the town of Southwell. Built in 1824, this is the best-preserved workhouse in England. The stories of those who lived and worked here help bring the building to life and prompt reflection on how society has tackled poverty through the centuries. Is this a place of despair or a beacon of hope? Visit and decide for yourself.
