Itinerary
Museum of Transport
Experience historic Coventry, where we have included entrance to the Museum of British Road Transport, home to more than 400 artefacts and thousands of items of memorabilia from the golden age of cars and cycles. This afternoon we enjoy a visit to Baddesley Clinton House, an atmospheric moated house that has been a sanctuary since the 15th century, with its three priest holes, fish pools, a romantic lake and beautiful walled gardens.

Grand Union Canal
We make our way to the little village of Foxton. Here we board the 'Vagabond', an elegant vintage motor launch, for a trip on the Grand Union Canal, seeing the Foxton flight of 10 locks and gently passing through the countryside. This afternoon we head to the northern outskirts of Leicester and join the Great Central Railway for a nostalgic 18-mile steam train ride to Loughborough, crossing picturesque Swithland Reservoir on the way.

Railway & BCLM
At Kidderminster we join the Severn Valley Railway for a ride along the valley to Bridgnorth, passing through restored stations on the way. Then it's on to the Black Country Museum for free time at leisure. Take a ride on a tram, tuck into traditional fish and chips or have a pint in the Bottle & Glass! You may recognise the museum from BBC's 'Peaky Blinders' as many scenes were filmed here.
