Yorkshire’s TV Trail
Head to the Wharfdale area, associated with the television series of Emmerdale. Enjoy a guided tour of Esholt, known to millions as the real life location of the original Emmerdale, where most of the filming took place here between 1976 and 1996. Filming was then transferred to a purpose built village. Your tour ends with the opportunity to have a drink in the Woolpack! Lovely Harrogate is next, renowned for its smart little tearooms and classy cafés. The celebrated Betty's tea room was established in Harrogate in 1919, with queues still forming for their glorious afternoon teas.
Yorkshire Dales National Park (4 day only)
A living, working landscape dotted with charming market towns and picture-postcard villages. Steeped in heritage, the region boasts historic castles, country houses and old mills. Stop in Richmond with its Norman castle, Georgian architecture, large cobbled market place, monuments, the fast flowing river Swale and breathtaking scenery.
Return day - To Holmfirth where a local guide takes you on an informative tour of local filming locations including Happy Valley, Last of the Summer Wine and many more. Return to interchange this afternoon.
