Not only do you get to attend one of the most prestigious events in the gardening calendar, but there's something available for the whole family to enjoy. The show promises to be a perfect day for the garden lovers with beautiful show gardens, a vast range of plants and garden related products. Also included is a visit to the highly rated RHS Garden Harlow Carr.
Itinerary
Day 1 - From your chosen joining point our feeder vehicle will take you to our designated interchange point where your holiday begins. After joining your holiday coach, we head northwards pausing for refreshment opportunities. Continuing on to your hotel to arrive late afternoon. Dinner and breakfast included.
Days 2 & 3 - At leisure in Harrogate with 2 included excursions.
Harrogate Flower Show:
A visit to the major independent horticultural show of the season - Harrogate Flower Show. Ample time to visit the 2 flower halls, home to over 100 of the country's leading nurseries. You may explore the Plant Societies marquee with exhibits and demonstrations of many national plant societies; admire the vast array of fruit and vegetables grown for the competitions, see craftwork, floristry, flower arranging and much more. A truly inspiring day for visitors of any age and your entrance is included.
RHS Garden Harlow Carr:
Today a visit RHS Garden Harlow Carr which covers 27.5 hectares (68 acres). Set in a valley and very much a part of the Yorkshire countryside, the garden has a wide variety of growing landscapes, from running and still water to woodland and wildflower meadows. Running the length of RHS Garden Harlow Carr is one of the longest streamside gardens in the country and is the jewel of the garden. Your entrance is included.
Day 4 - After breakfast depart for your journey home. A stop en route at Stamford, known as 'The Finest Stone Town in England'. Be sure to visit Barn Hill, a well-preserved and picturesque cobbled stoned street nestling behind All Saints' Church, that provided key locations for the BBC TV series Middlemarch. Traveling homewards, arriving back at your local joining points early to mid evening.
