Valkenburg and the Floriade 2012

Valkenburg is perfectly situated at the Crossroads of Europe as well as being home to fascinating underground caves, picturesque narrow streets and a romantic castle. On day three you will have an included excursion to the world-famous Floriade World Horticultural Expo where you have a full day to explore the 66-hectare once-a-decade celebration of horticulture. We also include a visit to Aachen, home of the impressive cathedral and market square, and the Three Country Point where the borders of Holland, Belgium and Germany meet. Finally, admire the Eifel Hills as we visit the beautiful National Park and the
historic fortified town of Monchau.

Day 4 - Eifel Hills. Included scenic Eifel Hills drive with a visit to Monschau.

Day 5 - Home. Depart after breakfast and journey home.You will stay for four nights at a comfortable hotel, such as the family run Hotel Op de Boud, located in the pretty Dutch town of Valkenburg. All hotels have well-furnished en-suite bedrooms as well as bar and restaurant where continental breakfast and dinner will be served.
