Edinburgh Tattoo

This year’s event will celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with the usual fantastic mix of
traditional pipes and drums, Highland dancers, intricate displays by cavalry and military dog teams, all against the stunning backdrop of Edinburgh Castle! On day two, we include a full day excursion to Edinburgh where you can explore the historic city centre and take advantage of the ample shopping opportunities. We will then transfer you to Edinburgh Castle* for the highlight of your holiday, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo - a truly amazing sight and sound spectacular. On the morning of day three, you will have free time to enjoy the idyllic countryside at the gateway to the beautiful Trossachs National Park.

After breakfast you will have free time, why not enjoy a short riverside stroll to Aberfoyle before your late morning departure.You will stay two nights at the Rob Roy Hotel, or similar, within easy coaching distance of Edinburgh and walking distance of the picturesque town of Aberfoyle. All hotels have well furnished en-suite bedrooms as well as a bar and a dining restaurant where a traditional breakfast will be included and dinner on day one..
