Paris & Versailles

For a more leisurely way to see the French capital, we offer this relaxing five day tour which includes a full daytime visit to the magnificent Palace of Versailles (admission payable locally). At the former home of French Royalty, you can wonder at the grandeur of its opulent architecture and interiors, stroll through the intricately designed gardens and visit the diverse exhibitions. We also include return coach transfers to Paris city centre where you will have lots of free time for shopping, sightseeing and exploration. To enhance your Parisian experience, our optional excursion programme offers a full day Paris City Tour with onehour River Seine Cruise and also an evening meal at a Parisian restaurant.

Day 5 - Paris. Depart after breakfast. En-route to the port, time permitting we visit a French hypermarket or wine/beer warehouse.Stay for four nights at a comfortable hotel, such as, or similar to, the Mercure Versailles Parly 2. All hotels used have well-furnished en-suite bedrooms as well as a bar and a dining restaurant where continental breakfast will be included on each morning of your stay.
