DAY 2 Travel to Benedot via Mont St Michel. Optional* walking tour of Honfleur: Today we continue our journey to the medieval settlement of Mont St Michel, which with its abbey was one of the first sites to obtain UNESCO World Heritage listing. Enjoy some free time to explore before we travel the short distance to our hotel in Benedot where we stay for the next four nights. Benedot is a charming town with a real Mediterranean feel to it with a long sandy beach. The little harbour has regular boat trips to Sainte Marine and some excellent restaurants.

DAYS 3-5 At leisure with one optional and two included excursions. Locronan & Pointe du Raz: This pretty village has a unique architectural style and it is almost as if time has stood still around the well in the main square surrounded by Renaissance buildings.With free time at leisure here why not visit the glassworks for a demonstration in the art of glass blowing? This afternoon we continue to Pointe du Raz, this has long been considered to be the ’edge of the world’ and has magnificent views across the Atlantic. Enjoy time to explore, mooch around in the visitor centre or how about a bracing cliff top walk?

Concarneau: We visit this famous granite walled city, built on a rocky island reached by a slender causeway and is a real gem. It has been inhabited for over 1000 years and is now home to some lovely restaurants, biscuit shops and many local craft centres. For great views you can walk along the top of the ramparts and admire the climbing roses and flowers that bedeck the shops below.

Optional* excursion – Vannes Gulf cruise: Join us on this optional visit to Vannes with the opportunity of a Gulf Cruise. We call at Auary and after lunch you can relax on a 2 hour boat cruise around the Gulf of Morbihan to complete your day.

DAY 6 Travel to overnight hotel: Today we begin our homeward journey travelling through the Calvados region to our last night stop in the Paris area. Your Tour Manager/Driver may offer an optional farewell dinner and tour in Paris subject to the time of arrival.

LAST DAY Travel home: We depart for Calais and our ferry crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening.Grand Hotel Abbatiale, Benodet

This hotel is situated in a quiet area on the port of Benodet, not far from town. Features include a restaurant and bar. Each of the 50 en suite bedrooms have satellite TV and hairdryer, many also have views across the port. There is a lift to all floors and porterage is included. Welcome drink and tea/coffee served after dinner are both included.
