A real treat for TV soap fans. See some of those much-loved locations such as The Woolpack along with other TV locations you’re sure to recognise.

Itinerary

DAY 1 Departure: A morning departure, stopping for lunch en route to our hotel.

DAYS 2-3 At leisure with two included excursions. Wharfdale and optional* Talk & Walk tour: We visit the Wharfdale area and Eshot, the original soapland settings and home to the Woolpack pub. Here you can join an optional* walk and talk tour.

North Yorkshire Moors with optional* train ride to Heartbeats Adensfield: We visit the North Yorkshire Moors, and the historic market town of Pickering, with an optional train ride on the North Yorkshire Railway to Goathland, Heartbeat’s Adensfield. After this we continue to Whitby for the afternoon.

LAST DAY Travel home via Holmfirth: We visit Holmfirth as featured in “Last of The Summer Wine”. See Sid’s café and Nora Batty’s house and join an optional Summer Wine exploration tour. We then depart, arriving home during the evening.

This centrally located hotel features a bar, restaurant and gym. Each of the 198 en suite bedrooms offers TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Porterage, welcome drink, tea/coffee after dinner and a glass of wine with dinner on your first night are also included.
