Itinerary

DAY 1 Departure: A morning departure, stopping for lunch and sightseeing in Winchester, en route to our resort hotel.

DAYS 2-4 At leisure with one optional* and one included excursion. Weymouth is set in the heart of the UNESCO Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The perfect arc of Weymouth Bay, with golden sand and calm blue waters complements this bustling medieval town and harbour perfectly.

Isle of Purbeck, Swanage & Lulworth Cove: We visit The Isle of Purbeck with the striking ruins of Corfe Castle, then continue to the resort of Swanage. Later onwards through to Lulworth Cove. Before returning to our hotel.

Optional* excursion - Dorchester: Join us for an optional excursion to the Dorchester, the well known market town. The capital of Dorset, Dorchester also know as Thomas Hardy country dates back to the iron age. Having time for lunch here before we return to Weymouth via Tolpuddle where the 6 martyrs in 1834 were sentenced to go to Australia and returned after 3 years.We then pass Clouds Hill the home of T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia), passing Bovington we return to our hotel.

LAST DAY Salisbury & travel home: We depart for home, stopping for lunch and sightseeing in Salisbury, where your driver may offer you an optional guided tour, arriving home during the evening.

This hotel is well situated at the top of Weymouth’s town centre near the harbour. The hotel facilities include a bar, restaurant, residents ballroom bar, lounge and lift to all floors. All 86 en suite bedrooms have TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Porterage, welcome drink and tea/coffee after dinner are included at this hotel.
