Itinerary
Day 1 - From your chosen joining point our feeder vehicle will take you to our designated interchange point where your holiday begins. After joining your holiday coach, enjoy a scenic drive to the hotel to arrive late afternoon. Three nights here with breakfast, dinner and a welcome drink in the bar tonight included.
Day 2 - Lincoln is a historic city with a vibrant and contemporary edge that adds an exciting dimension to any visit. Lincoln offers an experience rich in history combined with independent boutique shopping, great arts and culture and a wealth of places to eat and drink. The city is easily walkable for visitors with good mobility - the main shopping and tourist area stretches from St Marks Shopping centre in the south up to the Cathedral Quarter.
Day 3 - Legends & Lace! During the days of the British Empire, Nottingham was a world leader in lace making and the Lace Market area was full of impressive examples of 19th industrial architecture. Today, the area has been transformed into one of the hippest parts of the city, with the former warehouse buildings now converted into apartments, bars, restaurants and shops. Nottingham's compact city centre with new free Wi-fi hotspots, pedestrianised streets and tram system make it easy to get around. Throughout the centuries, historians and scholars have constantly searched for the truth behind the Robin Hood legend. Did he ever exist? Was he a Man or a Myth? These same questions are still being asked to this day. Stop and have your photograph taken with the Robin Hood statue outside Nottingham Castle - the most photographed icon in the city. Your return route to the hotel will include a stop in pretty Stamford - proclaimed by Sir Walter Scott as "the finest stone town in England" and declared a conservation area in 1967. It has over 600 listed buildings of mellow limestone in the town centre including five medieval churches, all real gems.
Day 4 - Say farewell to Stoke Rochford returning to interchange today and onward to your local areas.
