Newquay is Cornwall's premier holiday resort boasting some of the finest coastline and beaches in Europe. Although well known as Britain's surfing capital, there are many other activities and the surrounding countryside has an endless wealth of fascinating places to visit. The town is an ancient one - the "new quay" from which it takes its name dates from the early fifteenth century! The heart of the town is the old harbour but it spreads along the cliff tops which stand behind the eleven magnificent sandy beaches. Newquay offers wonderful cliff and beach walks, a picturesque harbour to explore and the variety of activities one associates with such a major resort, including swimming pools, golf, putting, squash, tennis, bowls, boating, shark fishing and horse riding. Full Day Excursion to Poldark Country and St.Ives
Today we travel south along Cornwall's northern coast through Poldark Country to St.Ives, one of Britain's most picturesque towns. The narrow winding streets mean the coach is unable to take us into the heart of the town, but a regular and inexpensive shuttle service runs the short distance from the coach park into the centre of this delightful town.

Full Day Excursion to Eden Project
Today takes us to the south coast of Cornwall and one of the wonders of the modern world - the magnificent Eden Project. With its fantastic architecture and amazing collection of plants from around the world, it is an experience never to be forgotten. (Admission included in the tour cost).Eliot Hotel

Very well situated close to Great Western and Tolcarne beaches, only a few yards from the sea front and within easy walking distance of the shops and harbour. 76 bedrooms with central heating and bath or shower and WC. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer and television with radio channels.
There are three lovely airy lounges in which to relax, plus a cocktail bar and dance floor where entertainment is provided most evenings. There is also a games room and outdoor swimming pool (heated May B September). The lift serves most rooms although all floors are split level with some intermediate stairs. Large car park.


Note for clients with a mobility impairment: this hotel does not have any ground floor rooms. There is a wheelchair friendly entrance and although the ground floor is split level there is a wheelchair lift between levels. Please ensure you submit a Special Needs form if you are mobility impaired.
