DAY 1 Departure: A morning departure, stopping for lunch and refreshments en route to our resort hotel.
DAYS 2-4 At leisure with one included excursion.
North York Moors National Park, Whitby, Goathland & Pickering: Journey across the dramatic North York Moors National Park. Passing Robin Hood’s Bay, we call at the fishing town of Whitby with its quaint old cobbled streets and picturesque houses standing on the steep slopes of the River Esk.Whitby is dominated by its cliff-top Abbey. The narrow streets and alleys climbing down to the quays of this seafaring town still bustle as they have done for centuries.We return through “Heartbeat Country”, calling at Goathland and Pickering.
Optional* excursion - York: A trip to Yorkshire wouldn’t be complete without visiting the spiritual capital of the North, Medieval York.Within its ancient walls lies a variety of wonders for you to discover.
LAST DAY Travel home: We depart for home, arriving during the evening.

With a Yorkshire stone frontage and bay windows this picturesque Victorian terraced hotel offers 63 en suite bedrooms with TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. There are public areas available in which to relax or dance the night away including a games room, a lounge and the bar with dance floor which also host evening entertainment on at least two evenings.Welcome drink, tea/coffee served after dinner and porterage are all included in this holiday.
