Itinerary
DAY 1 Departure: A morning departure, stopping for lunch and refreshments en-route to our weekend hotel.
DAYS 2-3 At leisure in Lancashire with two included excursions.
Bury Market: The world famous Bury Market dates back to 1444 and attracts over 250,000 visitors every week. Regarded as one of Britain’s best markets the ambience and layout offers visitors the opportunity visit over 350 stalls offering the finest in local and regional produce, fresh fruit and veg, fish and meat, fashion, textiles and much, much more. Why not visit one of the famous Black Pudding Stalls or just simply soak in all the charisma and atmosphere.
Lake Windermere and Bowness: Windermere on the hillside and Bowness on the lake shore are attractive, vibrant villages set within the Lake District National Park and combine to offer panoramic views of the lake and fells. There are many super attractions not to be missed nearby, including Brockhole, the National Park Visitor Centre, Townsend and Troutbeck, a 17th Century farmhouse owned by the National Trust.
LAST DAY Travel home: We depart home, stopping en route for lunch, arriving home during the evening.

Your hotel will be allocated nearer to departure, but will be of a minimum 3* standard in the Lancashire area. All bedrooms will be en suite with TV. Welcome drink and porterage are included and there will be entertainment on at least two evenings at the hotel.
