Description

Ilfracombe enjoys a setting of rare beauty set as it is amongst the breathtaking scenery of North Devon and nestling around a harbour as old and beautiful as any in Britain. For the energetic there are splendid walks along the Coastal Path, the famous Torrs walks, or swimming from the Tunnel beaches and coves. For those who like to take things a bit easier, one can simply potter through the delightful gardens or while away an hour or two watching the ever-changing harbour scene. A boat trip is a "must" during your stay to see the spectacular cliffs of North Devon or visit the legendary Isle of Lundy. There is also plenty to do in the evening with theatre, concerts, and cinema, as well as the entertainment provided at our hotel.

Full Day Excursion to Dunster & Lynton
Dunster is a fascinating historic village with a Norman castle steeped in history. The spectacular village of Lynton, spectacularly situated on the northern edge of the National Park, is connected to its twin town Lynmouth by a unique water operated cliff railway.

Full Day Excursion to Bideford and Clovelly A visit to the ancient port of Bideford and then on to the delightfully preserved private village of Clovelly, with its single cobbled street tumbling down to the sea (entrance included in the tour cost).

Situated in one of the best positions in Ilfracombe, overlooking the gardens and splendid Landmark Theatre and Conference Centre, close to the shops and only a short almost level walk from the harbour. 104 rooms with central heating and bath or shower and WC. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, intercom, hair dryer and TV with radio channels. There is a TV lounge, attractive cocktail bar and sun lounge.
