Description

Find yourself visiting some exciting destinations including the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii & Capri, coupled with amazing scenery, beaches and more. This is a holiday not to be missed.

Itinerary

Day 1 Departure
A morning departure to Dover and our ferry crossing to Calais. We continue through France to our overnight hotel in Metz.

Day 2 Travel to Lake Como
After breakfast we continue through the French Countryside into Switzerland and on to Lake Como to our overnight hotel.

Day 3 Travel to Umbria
After breakfast we continue through Italy to Umbria and our overnight hotel.

Day 4 Travel to Meta di Sorrento
Leaving Umbria we continue to Meta di Sorrento and to our resort for our 6 night stay.

Days 5-9 At leisure
At leisure in Meta di Sorrento with three included excursions.

Included Excursion
Full Day Capri A full day included excursion to Capri. You will sail across the Bay of Naples to the ‘Island of Dreams’ – Capri, home of film stars, royalty and the jet set due to its tremendous views. Lush plants and vegetation, luxury villas, and quaint towns are the main source of the island’s enchantment.

Full Day Amalfi Coast A full day included excursion to the Amalfi Coast. A stunning drive along one of Europe’s most spectacular coastlines on the narrow road which threads around the high cliffs. See amazing villages built precariously on the steep mountain terraces above the Mediterranean Sea en-route to Amalfi, the ancient port city with its beautiful mosaic-fronted Cathedral.

Included Excursion
Full Day Pompeii A full day included excursion to Pompeii, the ruined Roman city destroyed by the catastrophic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. The volcano buried the city under many metres of ash and it was lost for 1600 years before its accidental discovery in 1748.

Day 10 Travel to Chianciano Terme
We leave Sorrento this morning and drive north to the spa town of Chianciano Terme for a 2 night stay.

Day 11 At leisure
At leisure in Chianciano Terme, a spa resort considered amongst the finest in Europe, with its mineral waters, enormous parks and modern facilities.

Day 12 Travel to overnight hotel
We leave Chianciano Terme and travel north, leaving Italy and into the Austrian Tyrol to our overnight hotel.

Day 13 Travel to overnight hotel
We continue through Austria and into Luxembourg to our overnight hotel.

Last day Travel home
We depart for Calais and our ferry crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening.
