From our peaceful village base you’ll be amazed by the fairytale castles, vineyards and picturesque towns.

Itinerary

Day 1 Departure
A morning departure to Dover and our ferry crossing to Calais, then through France and Belgium to our hotel. (Please Note: There is no dinner provided on day 1).

Days 2-4 At leisure
At leisure in Brodenbach with two included excursions. The Moselle Valley is a romantic river landscape, known throughout the world for its wine, with idyllic winegrowing villages and vineyards.

Included Excursion
Full Day Boppard & Koblenz We climb through the Hunsrück Mountains to Boppard then to Koblenz. You will have the chance to take an optional cruise from Boppard to Koblenz, and the opportunity to sample fine local wines at an optional Wine Tasting, when we visit the house of Anton Hammes in the village of Alken.

Included Excursion
Full Day The Moselle We follow the course of the Moselle passing many delightful villages and stopping in the town of Bernkastel-Kues. We then return via the 16th. Century town of Cochem.

Optional Excursion
Evening Night Cruise & Farewell party In the evening you have the chance of an optional ‘Night Cruise’ with music for a final farewell party.

Last Day Travel home
We depart for Calais and our ferry crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening.

Hotel Anker, Brodenbach
We stay at the family run Hotel Anker situated on the riverfront. Facilities include a bar, restaurant, lift, wine cellar and swimming pool. All bedrooms are en suite with a TV.
