Itinerary
Day 1 Departure
A morning departure to Dover and our ferry crossing to Calais. We then continue through France and on to Caen to our hotel.
Day 2-3 At leisure
Included Excursion
Full Day Museums & landing beaches An included excursion to the American landing zones, starting at Ste. Mère Eglise, the first town to be liberated, and its American Airborne Museum. After this we travel to Utah Beach, Pointe du Hoc and Omaha Beach AmericanCemetery. We then continue to Arromanches to the Mulberry Harbour Museum.
Included Excursion
Full Day Normandy coastlines historic memorials An included excursion along the Normandy coastline, visiting the impressive museum of the Caen Memorial (admission included) and then on to Pegasus Bridge where the first landings on D-Day were made. Then a drive along the landing Beaches of Sword, Juno and Gold. We travel inland to Bayeux, famous for its tapestry and also the location of the largest British and Commonwealth cemetery in Normandy.
Last Day Travel home
We depart for Calais and our ferry crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening.
