Itinerary

THREE FULL DAY EXCURSIONS

PITLOCHRY, QUEENS VIEW & LOCH TUMMEL - Pitlochry is known as the Gateway to the Highlands. From a viewing platform on man-made Loch Faskally. We also visit Loch Tummel and the magnificent Queens View out towards the pyramidal cone of Mt. Schiehallion.

MONARCH OF THE GLEN COUNTRY & FORT WILLIAM - Travelling via Loch Laggan we view the magnificent Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge and catch glimpses of the mighty Ben Nevis before we continue on to Fort William.

LOCH NESS - Travelling through the Great Glen visiting Fort Augustus, a busy little town astride the Caledonian Canal. We travel alongside Loch Ness and pass Castle Urquhart, descending into Drumnadrochit, home of the Loch Ness Monster Exhibition.

Based in majestic beauty, right in the centre of the Highlands, the Highlander Hotel is ideally situated to enjoy the relaxation of being based in the hills and glens and touring attractions in the north of Scotland.

Bedrooms are all on the ground floor in an annexe, away from the main hotel block. They are all individually decorated to a high standard and all have welcome tray to make yourself tea or coffee.
