We begin with Titan HiTours VIP Home Departure Service™ to either London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport and your direct, scheduled British Airways flight to Munich or Salzburg. On arrival we transfer to the Renaissance, our hotel in Salzburg and our base for the next two nights.

DAY 2 SALZBURG
After breakfast, we take a guided walking tour of Old Salzburg, an elegant and spacious town set against a backdrop of breathtaking mountain scenery. The old town is overlooked by the fortress of Hohenzsalzburg, a former stronghold of the prince-archbishops. This afternoon, we take a coach tour to the pretty lake district, including the village of St Wolfgang, with its White Horse Inn, which has become immortalised in operetta. We return to our hotel early evening.

DAY 3 SALZBURG • INNSBRUCK
After breakfast we board the train, following the River Salzach as it meanders through the Alps. We arrive in Innsbruck early afternoon and our hotel, the Grand Hotel Europa. Later this afternoon, we commence our guided walking tour of this culturally rich city, which has hosted the Winter Olympics on two occasions. We return to our hotel for evening dinner.

DAY 4 INNSBRUCK
Today is free for you to explore the city. The main street of the old town is the Herzog-Fredrich Strasse and close by is the beautiful Baroque Cathedral of St Jacob, built in 1720.

DAY 5 INNSBRUCK • BREGENZ
Morning departure to Bregenz by train. This lovely medieval town is delightfully located at the foot of the 1064m Pfänder mountain and on the shores of Central Europe’s third largest lake, Lake Constance. We arrive at our hotel, where dinner is included.

DAY 6 BREGENZ • CHUR • BRIG • INTERLAKEN
After breakfast, we travel by coach to Chur, where we board the Glacier Express for one of the world’s great rail journeys. We arrive at the Alpine resort of Brig mid afternoon, where there is time for a look around before we travel onwards to Interlaken, at the base of the three famous mountains - the Eiger, the Monch and the Jungfrau. Dinner is included on our arrival at our hotel, the Metropol.

DAY 7 INTERLAKEN • LUCERNE
Today, we join the Jungfrau Railway and ascend to the highest railway station in Europe, the Jungfraujoch. The Sphinx Observation Hall at this station provides magnificent views extending as far as the heights of neighbouring France and Germany. Time is allowed for sightseeing and refreshments, before we commence our descent through the mountains to Grindelwald and we board the train to Lucerne, passing through the beautiful scenery of central Switzerland. On arrival, we transfer to the charming Hotel Wilden Mann where a welcome drink will be provided.

DAY 8 LUCERNE
Often referred to as the ‘City of Lights’, Lucerne has many architectural splendours to be admired including the Old City Hall, the Baroque Cathedral and, of course, the Chapel Bridge. You are at leisure today in Lucerne.

DAY 9 LUCERNE • LONDON
We travel by train to Zurich airport for our direct, scheduled British Airways to London Heathrow or Gatwick airport, where our staff will greet you and transfer you to Titan HiTours transport for your journey home to your own front door.Duration 9 days, 8 nights in hotels: 2 Salzburg, 2 Innsbruck, 1 Bregenz, 1 Interlaken & 2 Lucerne.
