Our day begins with free time in Grasmere, famed for its gingerbread and links to William Wordsworth. Don’t miss the opportunity for a stroll through Wordsworth Daffodil Garden where the poet is buried, this is the best time of year to see the daffodils in bloom. After lunchtime, we continue to Brockhole-on-Windermere for a guided tour of the Heritage Garden. Discover the fascinating story behind the design and creation of the Brockhole Gardens by landscape architect Thomas Mawson. Our visit ends with Cream Tea in the café, comprised of a homemade scone, jam, clotted cream, and a pot of tea. Please advise us if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
