Itinerary
Monday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Weymouth with adequate comfort stops, aiming to arrive at the hotel late afternoon.
Tuesday: Today we head west to visit Swanage, a stunning coastal town at the eastern end of the Isle of Purbeck. We will also visit Lulworth Cove, home to a significant part of the Jurassic Coast, with a visitor centre, shops and cafes.
Wednesday: This morning we visit Forde Abbey & Gardens, which through the centuries, it has played host to Cistercian monks at prayer, 19th-century philosophers and politicians, by misfortune implicated in the Monmouth Rebellion and more recently, the backdrop to the Hollywood adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s ‘Far from the Madding Crowd’.
Thursday: Today is your free day to explore Weymouth as you choose.
Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back this morning to Hugglescote, arriving back late afternoon.

The hotel boasts an enviable position on Weymouth’s seafront, overlooking the stunning golden sands and the Jurassic coast beyond.
All bedrooms are en suite with tea/coffee making facilities, television, telephone, hair dryer and WiFi. The hotel has a comfortable lounge bar. There are 7 steps to the hotel with a handrail. Some rooms do have some steps to after getting off the lift. Meals are served in the restaurant on the ground floor which does have lift access.
