Itinerary
The Poppy Line
We head to the North Norfolk Railway (the Poppy Line) for a journey twixt pine and sea. The journey will take us through Sheringham, Holt, and the pretty village and shingle beaches at Weybourne, with unrivalled views of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Blakeney Seal Cruise
We travel to the coast of Blakeney and join a cruise with Beans Boats to Blakeney Point to see the resident Grey Seal and Common Seal colonies, complete with an interesting commentary from the crew. Please note: Sailings from the harbour at Blakeney are governed by tide times & weather conditions. It may be necessary to amend this day.

Houghton Hall
One of the finest Palladian Houses in this country. Built in the 1720s, for Sir Robert Walpole, Britain's First Prime Minister. The Hall is currently the home of the 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, Walpole's descendent, and his family. Situated in traditional parkland, Houghton is home to a spectacular herd of white fallow and other exotic deer. The award-winning 5-acre Walled Garden includes a spectacular double-sided herbaceous border, a formal rose parterre, a Mediterranean garden, and a kitchen garden with arches and espaliers of apples and pears. Our visit includes a guided tour and refreshments. Please note: Due to steps, uneven paths, and cobbled areas, this attraction is not recommended for wheelchair users.

Elgoods Brewery
Discover the art of the brewer, watch traditional brewing methods using original open copper vessels and wander around the brewery museum before sampling Elgood's range of real ales. Our visit includes a guided tour of the brewery and the garden. The four-acre garden, re-designed by BBC favourite Nick Bailey, features 200-year-old specimen trees, a herb garden, herbaceous borders, and a rockery. Find your way out of the maze and then enjoy one of the award-winning ales in the licensed cafe bar.
