Itinerary
Day 1
From a morning pick up in your local area we travel by coach to the heart of England and the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre, located near the lovely village of Sutton Cheney. In this hands-on experience, learn about the Battle of Bosworth, the art of medieval warfare and how the fateful battle unfolded. Later we check into our hotel, arriving in time to enjoy dinner and our first night's stay.

Day 2
Today we visit the Richard III Visitor Centre in Leicester and find out about the life of Richard III through cutting-edge interactives and immersive storytelling. Learn about his childhood and family, with close inspection of how the Duke of Gloucester became King of England, to his eventual death on the battlefield (the last man standing) and the discovery of his body and reburial of his remains. Afterwards, we enjoy some free time in Leicester, before the coach takes us back to our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 3
Following breakfast at the hotel, we check out and make our way to the pretty town of Market Bosworth, close to Bosworth Field where the famous battle between Henry Tudor and Richard III took place. Worth a visit during our stop here is the White Boar Inn, where Richard III spent the night before the Battle of Bosworth. Afterward, we enjoy a nostalgic heritage train ride on the Battlefield Line from Shackerstone to Shenton, a journey of five miles. In the afternoon we rejoin the coach for our journey home.
