Join us as we journey to the Isle of Wight just off the South Coast of England. Enjoy a wonderful Warner Re-Mixed entertainment break at Warner’s Norton Grange Village. The Isle of Wight is an island gem with resorts that have been holiday destinations since Victorian times and Spring is a wonderful time to visit. Famous for its mild climate, coastal scenery, beaches, beautiful landscapes and pretty villages, the island has a lot to offer as you will see on our excursions. During our stay we will visit Quarr Abbey on the north coast of the island, the monastic home to a small group of Benedictine Monks, situated in 200 beautiful, tranquil acres, don’t forget to pay a visit to the resident pigs and popular tea shop. Stroll through Australia, the Mediterranean and South Africa all in one day on a visit to Ventnor Botanic Gardens. Don’t miss out on this fantastic Spring break.
Itinerary
Monday:
Depart Leyland at 07:30AM to commence our journey to the Isle of Wight, board the ferry to Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, from there it's a short journey to Norton Grange with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday- Thursday
Free time at the Warner Norton Grange Resort with the following excursions:
Half day tour - Morning scenic drive with short stops for photo opportunities in Alum Bay, Godshill and Shankin before visiting Ventnor Botanic Gardens with time for lunch.
Full day - today we visit Quarr Abbey, home to a small community of Benedictine Monks followed by a visit to the laid-back seaside town of Ryde, here you find a wonderful mix of traditional seaside fun, Victorian architecture, and hidden gems to discover.
Friday:
Check out of Norton Grange following breakfast for our return ferry crossing from the island and our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
