Description
Join us as we head to Chester for our 60’s and Soul short break. On Sunday evening don your glad rags or get into the true spirit and dress in clothes from the era for a great musical entertainment evening celebrating an eclectic blend of music created in the ’60’s combining soul, rhythm and blues, funk, gospel, and pop complemented by a delicious three course dinner. The following day enjoy a leisurely breakfast before joining us for a visit to the historic city of Chester, spend free time exploring this wonderful, compact city, returning to our hotel for another night’s stay with time to relax before we enjoy a 3-course dinner. Includes visits to Cheshire Oaks and the wonderful city of Liverpool where music is in the blood, why not take the chance to visit the Cavern club. Don’t miss out on this great fun break.
Itinerary
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 11.00am for our journey to Chester with a stop at Cheshire Oaks Shopping Outlet en-route, perhaps treat yourself to something special for this evening or why not get into the spirit and dress up in the style of the era. This evening don your glad rags as we enjoy a 3-course dinner followed by an evening of musical entertainment from the wonderful 60's and Soul era.

Monday
Following a leisurely breakfast we make the short journey into the historic city of Chester, one of the UK's most popular city destinations with cobbled streets and quirky lanes to discover. With free time in the city, you can explore the city's rich tapestry including the famous Eastgate clock, Roman walls, and the 700-year-old medieval 'Rows'. Return to the hotel Mid-afternoon, why not take advantage of the hotel's leisure facilities, or relax before our 3-course evening meal.

Tuesday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, this morning we head into Liverpool with free time to perhaps explore the waterfront, hit the shops, discover one of the city's wonderful museums or visit one of its many cafes, pubs and restaurants, why not pop into the Cavern Club, its open from 10.30am and free on a Tuesday too. Today the choice is yours before joining the coach mid-afternoon to continue our journey home.
