A delightful scenic drive through some of the loveliest country in the north, visiting Settle in the heart of the limestone country and historic Skipton as well as the ancient market town of Clitheroe.
Full Day Excursion to the Lake District
We travel first to Keswick on Derwent Water, then work our way slowly back south, passing Thirlmere, Wordsworth's beloved Grasmere and Rydal Water before coming to England's largest lake, Windermere. Here we take a boat trip (included in the tour cost) to the southern end of the lake where we rejoin the coach to return to Blackpool.
Full Day Excursion to Southport
Despite their common Victorian heritage, the studied elegance of Southport's Lord Street could not be more different from Blackpool's Golden Mile!

New President Hotel
On the North Promenade and a ten minute walk from the Tower, the New President Hotel is ideally situated with bus and tram stops directly outside. The hotel offers a friendly atmosphere with many amenities including the ground floor Kennedy's Cabaret with live entertainment every evening. On the first floor is the Atlanta restaurant serving carvery and buffet style meals, a lounge bar and separate panoramic sun lounge. All floors served by lift and all 66 bedrooms have private bath, shower and WC, hairdryer, colour TV, radio and tea/coffee making facilities.
