Itinerary
Itinerary
Day 1 - After joining your weekend holiday coach, head to Whitstable, with its traditional charms and rich maritime history plus plenty of metropolitan chic.
Time to explore before the short drive to Canterbury to check in for 2 nights with breakfast & dinner.
Day 2 - At leisure in Canterbury or join an included excursion to the Kent Coastal Towns. Perhaps being so close to Europe helps infuse Ramsgate with a cosmopolitan vibe - a bustling harbour, a yacht-packed marina, a historic port.
A short drive to Broadstairs with its lovely award-winning Blue Flag sandy beaches, delightful independent shops and a traditional High Street.
Day 3 - After breakfast you have an included visit to Walmer Castle near Deal. Originally part of a chain of coastal artillery defences, it became the official residence of the Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports.
Stroll in the Queen Mother's dedicated garden filled with colours and scents. Early afternoon to interchange and home mid-evening.
