Day 1 -Depart with a stop in Colchester, Britain's oldest recorded town. Travel onto Sudbury, your holiday base in Suffolk. Dinner, bed & breakfast.
Day 2 – 3 (or Day 4 on 5 days) - At leisure in Sudbury with two included excursions.

Bury St Edmunds & Lavenham (all holidays)
Long Melford with its mile long high street full of independent shops, vibrant art galleries, cafes and typical Suffolk Inns.
Then onto Bury St. Edmunds and the village of Lavenham, one of the best preserved medieval villages in the UK.
Constable Country – Guided Tour (all holidays)
Starting at East Bergholt, set in the beautiful Stour Valley, the birthplace of the artist John Constable. Onto Flatford Mill and Willy Lott’s Cottage, and finally Dedham, an idyllic old English country village as captured by John Constable.
Optional Excursion
Suffolk Coastal Tour – Aldeburgh & Southwold (5 days only)
Aldeburgh, a neat little seaside resort with a shingle beach. Onto Southwold with a sandy beach and pier.
Return Day - Stop at Wilkin & Sons Jams of Tiptree, and then continue to Maldon on the Blackwater estuary. Home this afternoon.
